This was an image I did YEARS ago while I was in High School, 2006. It was an image of Satoru Iwata, the CEO of Nintendo 2005-2015. I did it for the respect I had for the man even during the point in time, and the respect he brought now.Sadly...on July 11th Iwata pasted away from bile duct growth he been battling the last few years. This is a heavy blow for me, coming from someone I respected allot as a Nintendo Fan and just a gamer. The man truly loved his craft and you could tell how passionate he was...he was not just another CEO, but a gamer like us all.

He brought a character to Nintendo, one I always enjoyed to watch. It was not like watching CEO's explain and share things in a business manner, but as someone that loved to have fun and play games...and express imagination. While I'm was not always fond of every idea, there is no denying the impact he made...for me it was more positive then negative. It hard to picture a Nintendo without the face/character he gave it...and I regret he will not be here to share and reveal plans for the NX, and the character and imagination he would have brought to the reveal. I've never encounter a CEO I admired so much, a truly humble man and the heart and soul of Nintendo for year.
Rest in peace Satora Iwata, thank you SO much for the amazing times you brought me and the momories. You will be missed me me and many gamers. I've never been good with words or able to express how I feel, but I hope I was able to get along how much I'd admired you and what you brought...I was so looking forward to seeing what you brought to the future, the imagination and laughs...and sad I will not get to see that. Thank you, for the time you blessed me, other Nintendo Fans along with Nintendo itself. You were there for the best of times, and the roughest of times and always had a smile. I shall do the same and keep smiling and gaming. Thank you again.
